Pow Wow Berlin Dresden Sets New Standards

Important Trade Meeting Organized in 2007 for the First Time Jointly by Berlin Tourismus Marketing GmbH and Dresden-Werbung und Tourismus GmbH.

Even before its opening in the spring of 2007, the Pow Wow Berlin Dresden is setting new standards. The important workshop for the travel sector from both within the country and abroad is being organized for the first time jointly by Berlin Tourismus Marketing GmbH (BTM) and Dresden-Werbung und Tourismus GmbH (DWT). From February 2-5, 2007, around six hundred selected visitors in the industry from more than thirty countries will be invited to get to know the extraordinary attractions of the cities on the Spree and the Elbe with a personal visit.

The workshop will be held at the Berlin Exhibition Center and will be accompanied by a lavish program. The great stages of the city will present their current events to the guests. From the celebrity look-alike show to political cabaret, the visitors can choose which show they would like to experience live from an enormous number of selections. Thematic tours will show the many different viewpoints from which the city can be observed with a professional guide.

Another highpoint of the event will be the post-tour to Dresden. It will include an evening reception in the Dresden Castle as well as a visit to the Green Vault and will conclude in style with an organ concert in the famous Frauenkirche.

The organizers are offering a new service for the first time. Visitors can choose their accommodations according to their needs and can book them online themselves within the framework of available allocations.

The Deutsche Bahn (German National Railways) and Air Berlin have signed on as partners for the arrival and departure trips. Air Berlin is supporting the event with free flights on selected Air Berlin routes within Europe. And visitors from the industry can travel first class to Berlin and back from anywhere in Germany with trains of the Deutsche Bahn for only €79.
